Leaders produce leaders; followers produce even more followers:
People intelligence increases when you put them in position of leadership; micro managing people is a disease that can pollute great potential and even drive them away. This has the effect to sabotage gigantic growth of any society, entity or state.
A leader, is someone who leads the people, makes known the vision, makes them see as far as he sees; and shows them how it can be done while allowing them do the work through his guidance, supervision and mentorship. A leader birth more leaders but a follower birth even more followers.
There’re many followers pretending to be leaders and taking on leadership positions in our society.
Leaders are never frighten by the potential of others, in fact, they welcome great ideas and insights. They are confident of who they are and don’t micro manage others when they see their capabilities just so they remain in the spotlight.
Leaders are those that allow others to shine and be at their best around them; they don’t lower others worth just to feel above them.
Leaders acknowledged what others have to contribute and don’t hide their efforts and overshadow them. They are rare!
Now day’s when people are put in position of power, all they do is show how other are nothing and don’t have anything to offer and only their opinion matters. Such attitude incapacitate an economy, and society.
A true leader is not afraid of the intelligence of others. He is bold, confident, courageous, daring, encouraging, promising, and effective!
This I believe is the definition of true Leadership. They bring out the best within others; allowing the leadership qualities within others to emerge.
They are willing to take the blame when things don’t go right, and share the glory with their team mentioning each person collaborative effort when success is attained.
They understand deeply that the team is more important than their own goals. To them, the team is GOLD because without them, victory can’t be achieved.
I believe this is true LEADERSHIP
